It was inevitable that I would come out with some type of cauliflower bites. Here they are for your pleasure!
1 1/2 cup water
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 gluten free flour (you can use regular flour if you’d like)
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1 garlic clove minced
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup BBQ sauce (whatever your favorite brand is)
1 tbsp Sriracha (optional)
1.) Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
2.) Line a baking sheet with either a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
3.) Mix the water, gluten free flour, garlic powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
4.) Dip each piece of the cauliflower into the batter. Shake off any excess batter and place onto the baking sheet. Repeat until each piece is coated.
5.) Bake for 17 minutes.
6.) While the cauliflower is baking, mix together minced garlic, BBQ sauce, maple syrup, and sriracha (optional).
7.) When cauliflower is ready, put the florets in a heat-safe bowl and pour the sauce mixture over them. Toss to coat.
8.) Place the cauliflower back onto the baking sheet and bake for another 5 minutes.
9.) Plate & Enjoy!
Note: I saved a little bit of the sauce to use for extra dipping sauce.
