Vegan Green Protein Smoothie

Every day I make it a goal to get in my daily greens. Usually, I do this by having a giant green smoothie, some type of raw green salad for lunch, or by juicing. The easiest way for me is by having a green smoothie that is packed with nutrients from fresh raw veggies and delicious ripe fruits.

This smoothie is fantastic before or after a workout. I also enjoy having this for breakfast because it makes it so easy to grab and go when you have a busy day ahead of you. The protein in it helps to keep you full and energized for hours, which is great because sometimes a smoothie can feel like a snack and that is not the case for this one.

Don’t be afraid of the color. This smoothie is packed with fresh fruits to help keep it sweet enough where you won’t feel like your drinking lawn clippings. I hope you enjoy this glass of health!

Let’s do this



1 scoop of Sunwarrior Warrior Vanilla Protein Blend

1 tbsp of chia seeds

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Small sliver of fresh ginger

2 handfuls of spinach

1-2 handfuls of kale

1/2 green apple

1/2 fresh mango

1/2 cup strawberries

1 cup of cold filtered water

small handful of ice


In a high-speed blender add the water first. Then add the cinnamon, chia seeds, ginger, and protein powder. Stack on the greens (kale and spinach), followed by the apple, mango, strawberries, and ice. Blend up the ingredients until you have a nice smooth consistency. I find that my blender does less work blending the ingredients in this order but if you don’t see any issue feel free to simply throw in all the ingredients and blend. After you are finished blending, pour into a large mason jar or cup and enjoy!
